Wendy Marchand

Wendy Marchand (G.K. Boyter) is an emerging artist inspired by feminist artists Judy Chicago, Pauline Boty and Barbara Kruger. After 28-years policing, Marchand retired for her mental health. She returned to school graduating in 2023 with honours from the advanced Fine Art Program at Georgian College, Barrie. Marchand was awarded the Scholarship of Excellence in both 2022 and 2023 and received Excellence in Studio by the Juried Scholarship Exhibition, Campus Gallery in Barrie. Sheri Smith-Ross

sheri Smith-Ross is a 1986 graduate of the Design Arts-Graphic Design program at Georgian College, Owen Sound, studied photography, painting, silk screen, print-making, sculpture and graphic design. Sheri has over 30 years’ experience with the Ministry of Education where she worked as a Website Lead and Publications Officer. Originally from Sauble Beach, Ontario, Sheri, her husband and their dog Ozzy-Bear, now enjoy living along Georgian Bay. After retiring, Sheri also delved into metalsmithing and pewter embossing. Her interests have once again turned to her love of art as a mixed media artist.
